Children explore storytelling through picture sequences, riddles, opposites, and picture talks. They identify and name objects, follow instructions, engage in rhymes, and listen to stories that strengthen language comprehension. These activities enhance vocabulary, build listening skills, and nurture an early interest in reading, writing, and expression.
With a focus on dramatic play, songs, rhymes, riddles, role play (like shopping or visiting the doctor), and conversations during story time, children develop self-confidence and fluency in speech. These experiences encourage them to share ideas, talk about feelings, and enjoy imaginative expression using new vocabulary in real-life contexts.
Children develop a strong number sense by practising forward counting, backward counting, number order (before/after/missing), ordinal numbers (1st–5th), and matching quantities to numbers. They explore concepts such as more/less/equal, one–many, size order, shapes, patterns, sequencing, and classification — preparing them for early problem-solving and logical reasoning.
Engaging tasks like matching pairs, finding the odd one out, solving “what’s wrong?” pictures, memory games, sorting, riddles, and sequencing events enhance children’s critical thinking and attention to detail. These activities promote early logic, observation, and decision-making skills in both structured and playful ways.
Children begin to observe, compare, and question the world around them through real-life themes: body and senses, healthy food, plants and trees, insects, birds, pet and wild animals, seasons, transport, community helpers, and occupations. These experiences connect learning to everyday life and spark curiosity about the natural and social world.
Activities like tracing, drawing, lacing, beading, stacking, chalk work, cutting with scissors, dot-to-dot, playdough sculpting, and sorting objects allow children to refine their fine motor control. These hands-on tasks prepare them for writing and promote independent creativity through art and pretend play.
Through yoga (animal poses), hopscotch, line walking, ball play, action games (like “march like ants” or “flutter like butterflies”), and dance with music, children improve balance, coordination, and body control. Physical play strengthens their muscles, boosts confidence, and helps them follow instructions while having fun with peers.
Thematic adventures like Axe’s Birthday Party, My Body, Kitchen, Living Room, Bedroom, School, Garden, Playground, Zoo, Aquarium, Beach, Farm, Circus, Amusement Park, Hospital, Supermarket, and Transport (plane, train, ferry, road) help children connect classroom learning to the real world. Each theme combines early language, math, science, and motor skills — fostering holistic learning through role play, problem-solving, and joyful discovery.
